Team Caesar's "Empress." Yuri is the team's realist, ever critical of her brother's weaker presentation and their overall performance. Though beautiful and kindhearted, in the arena Yuri is utterly merciless and has no time to maintain appearances.

Yuri joins Koutei and her brother at the season's first national tournament, having to compensate for the emperor's overly apologetic behavior. Her first encounter with Kamui ends on a sour note, as he doesn't appreciate her babying him over a minor injury. While she's on the team when Caesar loses the championship match to AL4, it's unknown what her matchup was.
Usui makes her next appearance at the training camp Caesar and Q4 had arranged, coaching Aichi on deckbuilding and having several practice fights with the various members. Team Caesar develops a friendly rivalry with their juniors, which reaches its culmination in the second national tournament, where Yuri defeats Tokura Misaki in the second round between Caesar and Q4. Here Usui expresses her foremost belief in Vanguard, of always charging ahead and seizing victory as soon as possible. Her fast, self-sufficient playstyle passes the next round over to Kenji.

Decks and Play Style
Like all Caesar members, Yuri uses a Dimension Police deck, though hers appears to have some Spike Brothers influence in it. Her strategy combines the grade security of the Enigmen series with rearguards that can power up her vanguard, then making repeated attacks with Miracle Beauty. While in ride 34 she focused toward Super Dimensional Robo, Daiyusha, in her match against Misaki she uses Enigman Rain. Her particular build is weighted toward stand skills and triggers.
